Sherlock Holmes Mania - Solving Mysteries in eBook, Film, and Television Adaptations

I recently downloaded Study in Scarlet  from Project Gutenburg. Project Gutenburg is freaking awesome enough as it is, but they decided to be more awesomer by including QR codes on their website!

I love Sherlock Holmes and the Edwardian/Late Victorian era in general. I especially liked the last film with Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. So I was rather excited to see this post on ScreenRant where they are highlighting the new SH trailer. It looks like fun! Let's see if it can be just as good as the first one.

Also, if you haven't checked out the latest TV re-imagining of the classic called "Sherlock," I highly recommend you do so (*psst* Netflix instant streaming). It is clever, intriguing, and the two main actors, Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, are going to be in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit (isn't that a good enough reason to check it out?). Holmes and Watson solve mysteries in modern London. The first episode, "A Study in Pink," is loosely based on Doyle's first novel with Sherlock (the one mentioned at the beginning of this post).
"Hurry or we'll miss the ice cream man!"
